Obama promised the nation change and one of his strongest commitments and promised first act as president is passage of the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). Passage of FOCA will strike down and nullify virtually all state and federal protections protecting the unborn but it doesn‘t stop there.
One of the current protections provided through parental consent and notification laws is to identify & report incidences of child sexual abuse that often result in coerced abortions. With no consent or notification, no reporting, the abuse continues and intensifies.
Removing existing state medical & health safety regulations for abortion clinics and further redefining who can perform abortions (to non-physician personnel) opens the door to endangering women’s health and in some cases their very lives. Women will not be required to be informed of the risks associated with abortion, or the options to an abortion.
The legal rights of those who (for religious or moral reasons) oppose abortion to any degree are eliminated. Healthcare professionals, institutions and taxpayers will all be forced to either partake of, fund and be in some way tied to the abortion industry or the abortion process… not just here in the US, but also overseas. The options will be breaking the law of the land and facing legal penalties including loss of job, all government funding or even jail time.
The limits on what legally approves a late term abortion will be virtually eliminated, any reason will qualify a woman to abort up to full term as the term “health“ can be broadly applied to “implied” mental or emotional stress on the part of the woman, leaving the door wide open to Pandora’s box.
Free reign abortion will come to rule the land.
Those participating in the process will be comprised of those who have fully approved and condoned the full abortion agenda without moral or religious qualms, those whose desire for self-preservation overrode their moral consciences, and those driven by fear who have been coerced to consent to being part of it. Welcome to the brave new world of abortion.
